BASI Pilates Australia Virtual Courses
In 2020 BASI Australia launched LIVE VIrtual Online Pilates teacher training for our Mat and Comprehensive Global Programs. These courses are delivered via Zoom meetings for those who are restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic. The next virtual Mat & Comprehensive Global Programs start on 8 April 2022. Register via Brisbane Host Studio.
The team at BASI Australia is proud to provide students with an incredible opportunity and new perspective. BASI Australia’s Director of Education and Faculty, Jordanna Smith says,
“It’s a chance to delve deep into the work…study the cues and muscle focus, the intricacy of an exercise and not just focus on the choreography.”
How does it work?
Students are encouraged to register with their host studio on the host location page This is the physical location that they can attend when they can travel.
Also, to help complete observation, self-practice and teaching hours while the restrictions are in place, a larger percentage can be completed online. Please check the details here.
Please contact us if you are interested in studying a virtual course.

What our students are saying…
Our BASI Virtual courses started in April and here’s what our students are saying…
“…I’ve waited a while to start my BASI Pilates course, so I’m feeling grateful that we are still pushing through with it virtually. It’s giving me something exciting to focus on, keeping me motivated with home workouts and keeping my brain active.”
“By the way the modules on the weekend were amazing! Thoroughly enjoy both Jordanna and Shayne’s teaching approach & the mindfulness behind it all! Lots of good energy & high vibrations! Gets me super excited and amped like I can run a marathon or something haha!”
“At this stage, I’m really enjoying the flexibility of it. I think it’d be more difficult to do around full-time work if it was in person. Being able to do observation sessions online has been awesome! I’m eager to get into the studio, this has been the only downside so far is not being able to jump in and actually practice what we’re learning. I’m sure once the studios open next week in Sydney it’ll be a lot better. ”
At BASI Pilates we are one big BASI family and our team is here to support you through your Pilates teaching journey. If you have any questions please contact BASI student Affairs Coordinator, Emily Lamb – firstname.lastname@example.org.
